Our Family

We have been traveling for 10 years now! Our first trips began when the kids were 18 months old for Pierre and 2 years old for Augustin!

Our Story

Here we are! Flore, Marc-Antoine, Pierre (11 years old), and Augustin (12 years old).

Our children do not attend school; they practice unschooling with a natural parenting approach! They are thoughtful and very creative, and they love hiking, chess, reading, and especially cooking!

We work from home (remotely) in the field of sustainability, which allows us to travel while continuing to work. We enjoy hiking and discovering new places, especially in the Blaeberry Valley where we live. We have already embarked on two exciting trips around the world, which have deepened our passion for adventure and discovery. We hope to continue traveling while trying to reduce our ecological impact.

Together, we love exploring nature, discovering new cultures, and creating family memories.

Of course, I can’t forget to mention that all four of us are passionate about homemade cooking and good meals! We bake our own bread, make our own pasta, granola, grow organic vegetables, and even hunt and fish, which makes us nearly 90% self-sufficient in food !

Marc-Antoine

Handyman, dreamer, and crazy cook!

Flore

The artist of the house, always there to bring a bit of order with flair.

Augustin

He is gentle and calm, the maestro of pastry cream and a future soccer champion! (well… almost).

Pierre

The budding geologist, passionate baker… and king of chaos!

Our Travels

We have taken more than 30 trips with our children, love exploring the world, and absolutely love the concept of Home Exchange!

Green Team: Our Funky Way of Living Green

We eat as much as possible from our own production, we hunt, fish, and try to minimize our consumption by buying as little as possible from the supermarket. We make most of our meals ourselves, even making our own Italian pasta and bread whenever possible.

We have solar panels, so electricity is very important to us: I count on you not to leave lights or appliances on unnecessarily, heating, etc.

We have a septic tank close to the river, so we don’t dispose of any non-organic waste in the toilets (no tampons, plastics, or any materials that aren’t biodegradable). We also use simple soaps and chemical-free shampoo.

We have several different composts: one for the chickens, one for the garden, we also keep all coffee grounds and tea separately, and we save eggshells to make fertilizer. It may seem complicated, but it’s super easy xD.
